OUTCOME   INDICATORS

Understand human, equity, and developmental issues surrounding the use of assistive technology to enhance student learning performance and apply that understanding to practice.

Identify and analyze assistive technology resources that accommodate individual student learning needs.

Apply assistive technology to the instructional process and evaluate its impact on learners with diverse backgrounds, characteristics, and abilities.

PERFORMANCE TASK

Candidate will create an implementation plan using the SETT Framework Guide to analyze a student's learning needs based on the S - Student, E - Environments, T - Tasks and T -Tools. The framework will guide decision making about technology tools that can address learning obstacles. The candidate will present the implementation plan as an oral presentation, electronic document or video.
